PoM's ethical framework was developed as rails for its podcast productions and for clarity against our listeners to understand more clearly our mission and to build trust in the content we  provide via (video) podcasts.

  • We strive to present genuine conversations that reflect the complexities of human experience. We ensure that discussions remain honest and relatable, recognizing that everyone’s journey is unique.

  • We create a safe space for diverse perspectives; we are encouraging talk guests to share their experiences and insights. And we acknowledge and honor the experiences of individuals, especially those from marginalized communities.

  • We are open about the goals of our PoM podcasts, our role as a facilitator of communication, and our intent behind each conversation. Clearly we like to communicate any potential biases or limitations in our discussions.

  • We approach discussions on mental health topics with care and empathy. We are mindful of the language benig used and the potential impact of the conversation on listeners who may be struggling.

  • We strive to provide evidence-based information when discussing psychological topics or topics of sensitive nature. We encourage our talk guests to share their expertise and back their claims with credible research or personal experience.
